Sensory supports. Dec 5 and Dec 8, quiet room, fidgets.

Hours

Two one-time concerts, about 45 minutes each: Sat Dec 5 2026 at 2:00 pm (Aurora) and Tue Dec 8 2026 at 7:00 pm (Lone Tree). Lone Tree box office: 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and two hours before shows.

Dec 5: Larry D. Carter Theater, Community College of Aurora, 16000 East CentreTech Parkway, Aurora 80011. Dec 8: Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree 80124

Sensory Friendly Holiday Cabaret, Community College of Aurora, 2:00 pm. “Complimentary fidget tools are available for all attendees.” “dimmed house lights during the concert”, “reduced venue capacity”, captions, “an adapted program”, “an available quiet room”. “ASL interpretation and audio description will also be available.” Larry D. Carter Theater, 16000 East CentreTech Parkway, Aurora. The symphony doesn't say whether the sound is turned down. $13 general admission or accessible seating, up to 10 tickets; confirm any fees at checkout.Sensory Inclusive: The Holidays are for Phamaly, Lone Tree Arts Center, 7:00 pm. “glowed houselights during the concert, reduced venue capacity, captions, an adapted program, and an available quiet room.” Unlike most Lone Tree sensory shows, “we will encourage light applause” “at the end of each number.” $25.00 full price (includes a $6.00 service charge); no subscriber discounts.

How it's quieter

Each show has “dimmed house lights during the concert”, “reduced venue capacity”, captions, “an adapted program”, and “an available quiet room”. “Complimentary fidget tools are available for all attendees.”

“Performers modify shows to ensure there are no startling noises or visually over-stimulating components.” lonetreeartscenter.org

  • Both concerts are the same holiday cabaret: a Colorado Symphony string quartet with actors from Phamaly Theatre Company, sing-along songs and short stories. The symphony says about 45 minutes; the 2024 edition at Lone Tree ran closer to an hour, so plan for 45 to 60.
  • The symphony doesn't say whether the sound is turned down. Lone Tree says its own sensory inclusive shows keep sound lower than normal; call 720-509-1000 to ask if that holds on Dec 8. For the Aurora show, confirm the $13 price at checkout or call the Box Office at (303) 623-7876.
  • Lone Tree Arts Center also runs its own sensory inclusive shows, all Sundays at 4 pm: Nov 1, Nov 15, Jan 10, Feb 21, Mar 14 and Jun 13. Tickets start at $9. Those aren't symphony events.
