Mall of America's guide says “Weekday mornings and early afternoons are generally quieter,” and that arriving at opening lets you “adjust to the environment and gradually adapt as it becomes busier.”
Some stations are messy, with paint, wax, clay or sand, and the Mall of America guide notes “Strong smells from wax” at Drip Art, Melt & Mold and the Crayon Factory Theater. Play clothes help.
