Hours

Open only for Elitch Holidays the rest of this season: Nov 27 to 29, Dec 4 to 6, 11 to 13, 18 to 23, 26 to 31, Jan 1 to 3, 5 to 9 pm (Saturdays 4 to 9 pm). Closed Dec 24 and 25. No re-entry after 6 pm.

When it's quieter

The Calming Room “is located at the Season Pass Services center inside the Entry Pavilion” and “is equipped with items such as a teepee, weight blankets and noise cancelling headphones.” “Available on a first come, first served basis.”

  • Elitch Holidays promises “4+ Million Sparkling Lights,” rides, visits with Santa, a holiday show in the Trocadero Theatre and big displays. When you call 303-595-4386 about tickets, ask about music and flashing lights too.
  • The park's lightest days are summer weekdays and May, June and September, none of them during Elitch Holidays, and it lists no sensory-friendly dates. For shorter lines, ride favorites right at opening.
  • Re-entry needs a hand stamp and stops at 6 pm. Elitch Holidays opens at 4 or 5 pm, so once you leave, you're done for the night. Eat and use the bathroom before you go in.
