What to expect

  • Crowds

“In the winter months, the hot springs can be busier in the late afternoons and evenings. If you are looking for a quieter experience, we recommend visiting in the morning and on weekdays.”

  • Temperature

The Big Hot Pool “hovers around 98°F”; the Baby Hot Pool is 96 to 98°F; Spa One is 100 to 103°F; Spa Three, the hottest all-ages pool, is 104 to 105°F.

  • Space

The Big Hot Pool's shape “provides lots of little corners and areas to find some privacy.” The Splash Pool has “a gradual beach-style entry,” a fence and shade, just outside the locker room.

  • Waits

“No reservations required. In fact, we don't even offer them!” Passes are sold only at the front desk.

  • Rules

“We offer reentry on the day you purchase your pass. Just ask our front desk for your reentry receipt.”

  • Late afternoon can be quiet in the Baby Hot Pool but busier across the hot springs in winter. A weekday morning is the safe bet.
